 Visa
(from the Latin word "visa", literally means. "paper that has been seen") is an
indication that a person is authorized to enter a country which "issued" the
visa, subject to permission of an immigration official at the time of actual
entry. The authorization may be a document, but more commonly it is a stamp
endorsed in the applicant's passport but.. recently it is a music
band..
A band that define itself as A passport into a musical endeavor that
touches its conspirator's ethnic, spiritual, literal and musical influences,
while translating them into a perfect musical balance of old world nostalgia and
modern experimentation.
VISA was founded by K'noup Tomopoulos, a talented songs

Tell us abit about yourself, when did you start your career and how did
it get started?
I started learning to create music and manipulate sound using computers and
synths in the late 80’s and early 90’s. I also started out DJing house parties
and small events, while at the same time, learning to play the drums. Over time
I slowly built an electronic music production studio with some friends.
I now produce electronic music (electronica, house, drum n bass, rocktronica) on my
own and in separate partnerships, working with talented producers such as Nuno,
Haig, and Vigs Vegas. |

Have you ever felt like a cup of coffee while staring at your
computer screen waiting for what to do? Yeah? Well.. I had one of these moments,
so I searched for one of Frank Zappa's videos and start to enjoy, how funny and
genius that man was..
Cell phone is ringing, no one can bother me now, I have my coffee and my
Zappa's video, phone's ringing again, who dares to call while Zappa is
playing?

After Greg Watermann finished documenting the final System of A Down tour, the
Ozzfest summer 2006, Beno (the band's manager) gave him a specific
request, knowing that Greg had an incredible and exclusive collection of live
photos.
Beno asked greg to make something for System of a Down that no one had ever done
before, something
that would blow anyone away, and something that would raise the bar on live rock
n' roll
photography. |
