| Today, I decided to pull out my dusty old Scars record and pop it in my CD player. When Scars came out I didn't like the album at all except for a few songs. I thought it was too 'mainstream' and boring and didn't listen to it again until now. I have to say, I'm extremely impressed with the album. I believe it is becaise of how much I've grown to appreciiate music over the past year. I now cherish Scars On Broadway as one of my favorite albums. I just felt like sharing my story of this. Anyone else been cherishing Scars as much as I have lately? |

| A few weeks ago, I listened to Scars on my daily drives to school and back home. I listened to it a bit differently, and I gotta say Funny has now replaced Enemy as my favorite Scars song. |

I know what you mean - I'm the same.
When I first heard Scars, I thought to myself, "This is just like System but with less variation of musical styles, and only Daron singing", but now I appreciate their music a lot more.
Although I will almost definitely not appreciate Scars as much as I will ever appreciate SOAD, I do appreciate them a lot more now.

| Same story for me. First, I didn't really like the album except a few songs. Then, like 10-11 months ago, I started to listen again, and i liked it, and i'm still listening to it. |

| I guess it just has to grow on you for awhile to truly understand where Daron's musical direction was going |

| Actually, I have the same situation with all of my CDs. When I get an album, I usually listen to only a few of the songs that I liked a lot. Then sometime later I would decide to listen to it again, and I would discover that the other songs were awesome. I think it's a matter of what you're paying attention to when you listen to music. |

Yeah I completely agree. I started listening to the live songs first before the CD came out. I really like Kill Each Other Live Forever and They Say, also Whoring Streets and World Long Gone.
Then the CD came out and the other songs just didn't sit well with me. Then one by one I started to love all of them. |

i liked it as soon as i heard it. along with about 5 other people on the boards. i laugh in the face of all your musical inadequacies!!!!!
i joke..sometimes it takes time for an album to make sense, thats normal. sometimes it takes someones musical tastes to change. meh...as long as people enjoy the music that's all that matters . and if you don't, thats cool |

I've loved that record since day one and I still listen to it quite a lot.
