Oh, this is...kinda groovy, I guess.
I'm losing track of what I'm meant to be listening to, now. |

| wow..something to look forward to...kinda?? something is lacking for me...i guess it's the fact that it wont be daron or serj fronting the band. aaaand like someone else said..John says he can't write a song for shit..doesn't fill me with the greatest of confidence. ahwell...it'll be interesting to know how it turns out!! |

This.
Anyway at least I have something to look forward to. I wonder who the other musicians are... |

I'm tickled to death to hear about this. I don't really care who the other musicians are, or if it turns into anything great or not.
I'm just thrilled that the man has an opportunity to play again, and that he can have his own creative input into the project (which I was afraid he wouldn't if he worked with Billy Corgan).
I guess this explains why he's growing back the mohawk!

| By John writing songs I think he/she means that he figures out the drum parts which contributes a heck of a lot to the songs. Even Daron said with SOB, not any drummer fit his music and that John brought something special to his music. I started focusing in on the drums in SOAD's music and realized that I probably love SOAD a lot because of the drums. They can really set the tone for a song. |

| ^^ Agreed, I was just thinking that and I couldn't have said it better. John's a unique drummer imo. |

| I'm really excited to hear something new from John! (especially because it's not Smashing Pumpkins XP) |
