This auction is for a "like new " Daron Malakian Ibanez Iceman Guitar. There are only 300 guitars of this model created, and this is #203. I am a huge System of a Down fan. It has a tiny nick on the body that was there when purchased. (The picture is above) Besides that, this guitar is in excellent condition, it even has the plastic still on the body. problem is he stays out of the public eye for a reason, so he doesnt get interviewed etc etc.
the only time he ever does that sort of thing is during promotions for music and the odd article for a magazine (pot fuelled article and the LA high school article). Velvet Hammer might not be associated with him directly and I don't know if he has an agent? |

It's strange. But that's what makes him even more special.
Maybe he doesn't get (m)any offers to do interviews, when there's no new music announced. I believe everyone wanted to question him after that cancellation thing but he didn't want to hear about anything. And if he has an agent.... We know he doesn't like to deal with anything that smells like business, so maybe he has someone like that. But I bet he keeps in touch as little as possible.
Sometimes I think like.. his music is so personal, he's very closed type of guy, that's the main reason he acts how he acts. It has to be so damn strange for him to meet people that totally admire him and see him as their idol. With all those emotions and parts of life he put into his songs. When I saw him standing between fans, he just didn't look like celebrity at all. I saw a very shy person.
I don't wanna try to analyse Daron, but it's just interesting to look at things from different angles - I see his isolated behavior totally understandable after that. We should respect his privacy, admire his work and try not to look at him as a normal type of rockstar. Cause he ain't nothing like it.
I'm the one who started this thread but all the stalkish talk was just for fun. |

He must be making music, thats his life, thats what he loves, of course since he left Scars he should ve done like a thousand songs I reckon...
He wont be given any interview for now, so...
well I guess its somehow because Daron Malakian that patience is now one of my virtues. |
