After these latest myspace blog announcements from Scars on Broadway, I was horrified to find an alert in my e-mail account for a new myspace blog announcement from Serj. Anxiety immediately set in. "Mon Dieu!" I exclaimed to myself, "Serj is breaking up with himself and will never tour again!"
But no. I found only an announcement about a new song that Serj wrote with some other dude for some Leonardo de Caprio movie.
Whew! That was a close one. |

Actually, you should totally check out this new "Bird's Eye" song with Serj & Mike Patton. It's really an awesome song!
But back to topic, I doubt Daron/Scars even knows right now whether or not "It's all ovaaaaahhh!".
Let's give them a bit of time and space to regroup.
Some things can't be rushed. |

Man, I'm heart broken over this. I was really looking forward to this show and now it's all gone - I hope Scars is still cool and all can be well in their world. I just.... damn man, to put it into really simple terms - this sucks ass. Large amounts of ass that have my chest filled with disappointment.

"SOME OTHER DUDE"? 
The whole "the music will live on" (or whatever it was) thing confused me. It either means we'll at least still have the first Scars album to listen to, or it means that there is plans for another album still in the works. I'm somehow doubting the latter. |

I think it means that we won't be hearing from Daron/Scars anytime soon sadly 
I could get more into what I think it means in terms of SOAD and other projects, but that just makes rumors.
In general i think it's just saying that Scars is over and that the album is what we will have to remember them by. |

Woh! Czar! I love the way you use the English language!
And Jizzlobber, it's true. I've never heard of Mike Patton.
Don't know if I'll see the movie though. I'm not a big fan of either Russell Crowe or di Caprio. Di Caprio seems to only perform at the top of his game in Scorsese movies.
I hope all the guys in Scars are doing all right. Best of luck to Daron with whatever he's going through. |
