ok no offense but i take offense to that, my songs are 4 minutes long and i dont care about the length of the lryics, it works for songs, and im not in a band, im a 1 man band.
these arent just lyrics, theres music to all the lrycis ive posted, lik soldier is 6 minutes long, ul see how it works, espeically once bliss is recorded |

They probably have. I give props to you guys for writing your own songs, that's great. BUT, when I see some (read: a lot) of these lyrics, I try and see how each song would play out in my head. And it sounds a bit too much like System/SoB/Serj. Not knocking anyone, I could even be wrong about how they'd sound, and it's fine to have an influence, but I think some people have yet to find their own voice (no pun intended). Or maybe I'm just weird and my "influences" end up sounding very little like the music I try to come up with. Either way, I hope nobody takes this too personally. It's just my view on things. |
