It's really starting to feel like the whole Metallica/Megadeth thing. |

Really, this sucks so much, and in my opinion, those are things that destroy the atmosphere around here.
I dont give a shit who was the first to say he wants to go on hiatus but look at the guys - they seem to be happy now ! And its their business how they deal with the situation. Serj smiles and Daron says he doesnt wanna talk about that shit. So what?!
True it does bring down the atmosphere in here but its human nature to be interested in all that we are not clear on. The hiatus being one of them. But do remember Curiosity killed the cat. If we truly found out what really happened between the band members; it would cause a rift between the fans. X fans between Z fans and so on. They're doing it for us, they're [imo] protecting us and our unity as system fans.
 Calm down
This is so true. Maybe it would get even worse if we knew the truth. But IMO its already bad enough. Maybe they are not telling everything to prevent trouble among the fans but Im afraid it doesnt work out very well. As you can see here
Is this off topic?! Dont know... Id just be glad if we could stop this whole thing once in a while and not always start it new. |

ok, john, from system,. ends up in scars with this person you all say, "has an ego",
shavo, from system was also at one time going to be a part of scars
to me, it looks like they were trying to stick together thru this time, that "someone" needed to go do his own thing
right???
not that that is bad! come on people, they were together for 12yrs
someone is gonna get a little tired and wanna move onto something else for a little while
does it make me happy? no! do i think it was smart? no!
but theyre human! |

| look guys, daron hasn't a big ego. He just doesn't want to talk about the past. System was past and Scars is now. He has a band that's not system so why does people talk about system on the interviews? |

I agree with Bakunin, (except about Achozen and Serj i personally like it)
And SOADlover he hasn't deleted the last 12 years of his life! I agree with everyone who said that its cuz he's getting asked the same question again and again!
In an issue of Kerrang! magazine it says that Daron felt scarred when Serj announced that he wanted to stop SOAD and persue his own solo career. But then once he thought about it he realised it was an oppurtunity to concentrate on SOB. |

but if it wasn't for all that time with System he would be nothing and no one would really like his band.
And if it wasn't for Daron SOAD wouldn't exist, and without him it wouldn't gain as much popularity as it did...
It is completely understandable, why Daron is so pissed lately,if you are in a band called "System of a Down" would you want to be interviewed about a band called "Slipknot",you can say that is nonsense what I'm saying but that's what happening right now, they keep asking about System even though Daron(right now) is a member of Scars on Broadway and I'm sure he knew that at first there would be lots of questions about system,WHICH HE DID ANSWER already about ten millions of times, now he just asks them to stop asking the questions about soad and keep the topic on scars,I've never seen Daron being ignorant to an interviewer except for *cough* Fuse *cough* when he was still in SOAD. |

| He's had a huge ego since the beginning of Soad, especially during Mez/Hyp. Did it really take you guys that long to notice? |
