It was the first time that Scars visited Belgium, with their European Tour.
Sunday evening;
After a family party, i drived with my girlfriend to the gig in Brussels (about 30minutes driving) after finding space to park my car, we went to the AB.
When we came in, whe've got some kind of flyers (actually it are stickers!!!) from scars on broadway!
The opening act : 20.00u (local time) THE RONES (A belgian band, even me didnt know them, but they arent bad)
After 30minutes their time was over.
I saw Sako!!! He removed the black curtain that was hiding john's drumkit.. a real nice black set!! some guys soundchecked the guitars and stuff...

The lights go out!!!
you saw some guys coming on stage except for daron...
after like 20seconds, some guy with a flashlight walked for him (it looked like they are looking for the right way to the stage :d)
and started 'Serious'
the crowd goes crazy!! and so did i 
the live sound was very very nice!!
and daron looked very healty and happy!
they played alot of songs (see setlist below)
but some stupid french f*cker (sorry french people!!) jumped 2x times on the stage.. the first time he was only standing and raising his hands.. but the second time .. it was the ending of 'Universe' he jumped on the stage and run to Daron.. and he wanted to shake daron's hand, but daron didnt see him coming!!! Daron was really shocked for some seconds!!! (the the guy jumped in the crowd before 3 security man grabbed him) Daron said: Man you scared the shit out of me! When i play i'm not even on the planet! but thank you for bringing me back!!
Also : Before 'Funny' started (after that incident) john quickly run to the front of the stage and said something (the song was already started! but he was fast enough back :d) then like 20 seconds after that, 2 security guys extra between Scars and Audience!!
Amazing Show that will be on my list : Best Concerts Of 2008!

w00t, my first post in the forum... i feel so bad for reading but not writing. XD
anyway... i asked John what he told the guy. he said to me that he was pissed and angry cause there wasn't any security at the front and he wants to be sure that we're safe and stuff. nice, isn't he.
but yeah, that was one of the best concerts evaaarrrr. the performance was really good and i got pics with all five guys, i could talk to them and get autographs on my album-booklet. awesomness!
oh well, besides the fact that they didn't play Babylon.

yeah, you might be right, Awean.
hmm, i shot the pics with Danny, Dominic and Franky, like, 30~20mins before the concert. for John i waited about 20 or 30 minutes and for Daron... well, it was a long time. probably an hour after the concert. he came out after the venue closed. and i could barely shoot a photo with him. luckily he saw that i want one and pulled me over to him. ^^ |
