Well, the way i see it i have said before, it looks like, at least Darron wants to sing more, and serj would then be useless, and i am fairly sure that serj did do more of the writing, its not just me, i have had many people comet that, not just the voice, because he is actual screaming less and singing higher, but the music style, chord progressions and what not are more like the old system album.
but also another thing that does sport this theory, or at least shot its more darron that's mad (which that could be a reason) is that I've read serj interviews that he was excited to hear scars and liked it, and during the one interview that darron was asked if he had heard serj's he just show out "NO", not a "i haven't had a chance" or anything, just "NOI!" |

^That's still not true, the musical booklets even state that Daron wrote the majority of the music for the albums. Even John stated it and I doubt he would perpetuate a lie.
Before Mezmerize released, Daron stated that he was changing his style so of course it wouldn't sound like the first 3 albums.
There is no denying the fact Daron played a huge role in the music of SOAD from the get go. It's a fact. |

| well either way, darron did start to sing more, and if they had kept going in that direction than serj would have been useless, so he probably said something about it, got darron mad about that, and as i did say, serj has heard scar's stuff, but darron hasn't, and probably isn't at the time planing on hearing serj's, it does if you read the comments that darron is more mad at serj, and that's just my theory for why. |

I have my own theory about it. I don't think Serj had too much of a problem with singing. To quote him in the 2005 Revolver Magazine.

As I've said before, I truly believe that it was Serj that wanted to go out and start expressing his personal believes on the world through his music. He was unable to do that in System because it just didn't fit or represent the band's ideals.
If Daron is a bit annoyed at Serj, I think it's because he didn't want System to end. In an interview, he said it was like changing his last name and he had no ambitions to go solo. So when he gets asked questions like "When is System coming back?", he gets mad, because it wasn't his original idea.
So, it's very possible there's some ill feelings, but I doubt it was a control thing. They all seemed really supportive of the direction of Mez/Hyp. |

| alright, that sounds feasible as well, I'm not here to start a fight after all, just wanted to say my views and hear more peoples as well, but i suppose well probably never hear to true answer until the get back together and say why then |
