i have a turkish penpal, so i asked him what he tought about the armenian genocide... he said that some armenians did die, hum, during, a, 'migration'... i didn't insist because i like this guy, and you know, when you've been taught something all your life, it's hard to admit it's not true. i think the problem's there... they denied so long that now generations are convinced armenians and western countries are liars (yeah, western countries, d'you know that in france, denying this genocide is as forbidden as denying the shoah?). do you think the government does know the truth? they probably think like the other turkish people...
i think boycotting is just useless anyway, because you don't have to penalize a country for what its government does... turks aren't assholes you know
hum, and i believe that a lot of turkish people have greek ancestries, no? |

Any other ethnicities of people killed in a genocide. It'd be a lot easier if everyone can complain and dwell in one thread.
