i posted this on the other thread but i thought it would be cool to have a thread especially for everyones reviews..
just got home from the gig!!!! it was fucking AMAZING!!!
right...it was suppose to open at 7 but we didnt get in until about 8.30?!!! that was a lil bit annoying....and to make it worse...me and my mate got in...got a good space in the middle of the floor and then the roadies where still tuning the guitars etc?!! so the wait continued...until about 9.15 when the show started....daron had either a dark red or black tshirt on (couldnt tell in the light!!!) and Franky was wearing a vest....man, that guy is huge...and he looked fuckin pissed off about something! lol...they kicked off the set with exploding/reloading and basically done the same set that we come to expect...adding funny and serious.....im guessing Babylon was in there following a mini Bowie cover!!!
me and my mate werent going crazy during the show....nodding our heads in approval but not going insane...i really wanted to appreciate the music and really hear them. Luckily a guy with blonde hair holding a beer was standing infront of us kinda acted like a blockade against a load of people going crazy throughout the whole gig but then when They Say kicked off, me and my mate looked at eachother and thought....fuck it...and THE PLACE WENT NUTS!!!!! i somehow ended up right at the front with Franky shoutin at me lol
anyway...to actually review the show objectively......(which is really difficult...and its going to sound so bias) but....they were...FANTASTIC...so tight and the sound was brillient. You could get the feeling that people in there who hadnt watched the Kroq gig were really appreciating the music (my mate had only heard They Say and he said he felt like he had heard the songs before because they were so catchy and accessable!)
really...this gig was one of...if not..the, best gig ive ever been too.....better than System...i just felt the intimacy added so much to the gig, it was just fantastic!!!!!
oh...and a funny quote..."we are a speck of dust.....in another speck of dust......in another speck of dust.......in other words...we aint shit!!!!" - daron! lol |

Just got back and ive got to say........WOW, The Show was fucking amazing 
I loved They Say because everyone went crazy and i was jumping and singing and having a great time
They Say and Chemicals were my favourite songs of the night but they were all great. I liked Cute Machines alot aswell
Serious & Funny were good.
As toomerj said it was great to see people who hadnt heard Scars songs before and getting into it
The whole show was just awesome 
I got some videos from the show aswell
To sum up the show was awesome and has to be the best gig ive been to so far, I cannot wait to get the album now. |

The show was fantastic - the best gig i've ever been too.
Franky was a great guy when I met him near the cars when he came out to see us all - every time I saw him he spoke to me and shook my hand and he was an incredibly down to earth guy.
I was also allowed backstage to meet John aswell (I also met Franky again down there too!!). Simply electrifying. Literally. |
