1, Click Track/Metronome
2, Guide Guitar/Bass (rough tracks for the drummer to play along to)
3, Drums
4, Bass
5, Chord instruments (Guitars/Keyboard etc)
6, Vocals


As for songwriting do whatever you want, theres no set rule saying one must come first.

Dude, I just get really high with an acoustic guitar and I just fucking play forever. I just made a song a few minutes ago. Thats how you make a song, lyrics and all.

for recording, you go:
1) Guitar riff
2) Bass/ chords
3) Drums
4) Vocals

donard, blitsen, comet, dasher, cupid, vixen and rudolph.
