Hello! Next year when I start at the Virginia Commonwealth University, I'll be majoring in music performance and composition. And I am very interested in arranging as much music as I can. I love doing it.
No matter what instrument you play, I can arrange music for you. Please just tell me what instrument you play and what your skill level is, tell me what SOAD or Serj Tankian song that you'd like me to arrange for you, and I will send you the sheet music. (For free!) Perhaps you have a friend that plays another instrument. I will arrange for duets, trios, and quartets too! All you have to do is send me an audio OR video recording of the music being played (either by mp3 or YouTube) and I will post it right here at the beginning of this thread! Please! Any instrument(s)! Any skill level!

You will not be recieving any kind of tab from me. And anyone who wants a song done, please post ALL of the following information:
*What song do you want? Or do you want me to choose it for you?
*What instrument(s)?
*Are you a beginninig, intermediate, or advanced player?
*Do you have any trouble with time signatures or reading rhythms?
*Do you have any trouble with key signatures?
*Can you play the full range of your instrument?
*If you are requesting a song on piano or keyboard.. Do you just want an arrangement of the instrumental elements of the song? (so that perhaps you can sing along), or do you want the vocals to be actually PLAYED in the music? (it can often be very difficult to include both instrumentals and vocals onto ONE keyboard)

| okay i play electric guitar and would like u 2 arrange for me any song u think it would help me get into soloing (maybe scales and stuff) idk is that right? |

| Would you arrange stuff for an Alto Sax? xD Any SoaD song would do, i don't mind, pick your favorite. Btw if you don't know the Alto Sax is in the key of Eb. |

An arrangement, in this case, is taking a song (such as one by SOAD) and rewriting and adapting it to a specific instrument or group of instruments, while keeping musical phrases and themes similar to the original piece of music.
The best example for you guys would be.. all of the string quartet tributes to System of a Down. I own three. System of a Down songs were transposed and altered in order to sound appropriate for the four string instruments.
I want to do this for any instrument or group of instruments that you guys can throw at me!
 But I am not in any way providing a guitar tab service. The music will recieve from me will be written with actual musical notation. Any guitarists who can read music are welcome to request a song, but do keep in mind that it will be music with substance (not excessive amounts of power chords). Probably the best possible route to take in terms of guitar, would be classical/Spanish guitar, which is my primary instrument. So if there are any classical guitarists out there, now's the time to step forward and get your music
But this is open to ANYONE who plays any instrument and can read music for that instrument (not tabs). Brass, woodwinds, piano, any type of orchestral instrumentations, anything. If you can record yourself playing it, I'll write it for you.

Well.. I'd like to keep it SOAD-related. That means System of a Down, Serj Tankian, Serart, Scars on Broadway, ect. But if you want something else done bad enough, I will gladly do it

If you aren't talking about tabs, I'd be glad to. Nothing against tabs, I love them and use them almost everyday, but no one could ever possibly get across 100% of what they're trying to express musically through a tab. If you can read guitar music, hit me up!

Absolutely. And I can transpose from concert pitch to what you'll be reading for sax. Don't worry, its a fundamental part of arranging Please fill me in though, do you have any limitations with reading music? Rhythms? Key sigs? Range? Or are you pretty experienced?
