So the song is about how a blood cell (let's call him Bob) realizes that his own body (Tim) is damaging himself in my interpretation.

"Everybody knows,
Everybody knows,
That you cradle the sun, sun
Living in remorse
Sky is over"

So all the cells in Tim's body knows that Tim controls everything that he could do, like eating unhealthy foods, etc, and because that Tim is eating too much sugar, that the cells live in remorse. The beautiful sky is now turning black in Tim's body as Bob sees this in Tim's body, which is the sugar causing the 'sky is over'

"Don't you want me to hold you baby,
Disappointed, going crazy"

So Bob wants to control Tim's body, but he has to become a brain cell. Tim after being controlled potentially by Bob will make him disappointed because he has no sugar. Now he goes crazy and Bob loses control.

"Even though we can't afford that,
The sky is over
Even though we can't afford that,
The sky is over
I don't want you to go,
The sky is over
Even though we can't afford that,
The sky is over"

All the cells are losing the battle to keep Tim safe, as the sugar continues to take over. Bob is telling all the cells not to fear this 'sky is over'.

"Behind closed eyes lie
The minds ready to awaken you
Are you at war with land
And all of its creatures
Your not-so-gentle persuasion
Has been known to wreck economies
Of countries, of empires, the sky is over"

Bob is trying to wake Tim from the sugar from the behind of his eyes. The brain cells are ready to zap Tim's brain with a boycott off sugar. Tim is at war with his own body against his own addiction, and all of his body cells. His persuasion wasn't gentle since he's addicted to sugar, and is trying to get the cells to accept sugar. He is wrecking the health bank of his own body's countries and empires, and the term 'sky is over' is repeated again.

The lalala part is that Tim has a screw fixed and is repairing himself. The lalala's in the cell language is passing time.

"Not even from the sun
Not even from the sun
Not even from the sun
Don't you want me to run"

The old Tim is thrown off the sun. as Bob controls Tim now. The addiction is on the run by the cells.

"The sky is over us"

The sky returns because Tim stops eating sugar, and lives a happy life.

Happy Ending for Bob and Tim.

Not bad...I liked it!
now, I've been wondering this... when you make these, are you just making this up as you go, or do you actually sit down and think this out?? I can understand you just making this up..I've done it with the "I was traded on the black market" story that Daron had (I just added more onto it)

Our older riffs had more of a 'chugga-chugga' sound...This stuff is more notey and melodic in an Eastern type of way
