(This idea came from my former U.S. History Teacher, who is a big fan of SOAD, and I must say, it sounds believable.)
This song's story sounds like a relationship gone wrong, and the boyfriend is planning to kill his Ex-Girlfriend
The different ways he come up with, like poisoning her, slitting her jugular vein, hanging her, or gassing her.
Poisoning a drink, Bleeding in a sink
Choking with a link, Killing with a stink
He insults her during the relationship, because he finds out she has been cheating on him constantly.
Just your mother's

Then he begins to have the thought of setting her on fire, knowing that he'd be killing the one he loved.

They've tried a psychiatrist, but is only led to them fighting with the poor guy/girl, believing they didn't need him/her to save their relationship, but ti just leads an attempted suicide by the girlfriend, so they try to go to Church to try and fix the problem, but the Boyfriend begins to go insane,
Trampling a shrink, Bleeding in a sink
Halleluiah wink , Getting on the brink
The guy wants to his fix this problem and tries to come up with idea with her, but she just laughs in his face and ended the relationship right there.
I saw her laugh
Then she said, "Go Away"
So he finally snaps, and revenge is the only thing he could come up with, but deep down he knows he is just bluffing, knowing he couldn't kill the one he loves, so all he is doing is coming up with murder ideas, and he can't back up his threats in the end

It's in the takin, making, makin, taking, faking
So the only thing left for him to think about was what the coulda, shoulda, and woulda done to fix their relationship, had not been for his problem.

The Title Revenga is actually a way to make it sound more feminine, like Chica (I think that's how you spell it.) |

| yeah, agree with Lady_Dolmayan, i never had thought of it. and it is very interesting. and by the way, it is so cool if you have teacher who is such a SOADfan... and is thinking about it so much. cool. |

some people that i think this way .  )
. a guy getting insane ( or always was insane , but now he snaps)
because his loved one rejected him .

Actually I had a same thought w/ u Serat_fan. Mabey a lil bit different, but still in same rule.

This song was happen in my real life. When we broke, I was sing this song over him. I wrote his name in my mobile as Sweet Revenge because I do revenge him.
