| whats with the anti daron attitude some people have on this site anyways? i dont read many but the ones i DO read are really strongly against him, i only recently got into SOAD (and i love them and their solo stuff =) ) so maybe im missing something here |

Daron supposedly "ruined" SOAD by hogging the spotlight, manipulating the other 3 members and then released mez/hyp, albums of which some people think suck because "he controlled everything."
It's a really lame argument. Mez/Hyp would NEVER have been released if all 4 members of SOAD weren't happy with it. And as for hogging the spotlight, Daron's been writing their music since the beginning, the only thing he did more of was sing, and I think some of the lyrics too.
As for the interpretation of this song I think it's more likely to do with people who are greedy and obsessed with money which turns them into tyrants. Though the Serj's feelings towards Daron theory is slightly more interesting imo |
