sorry if there's already a topic like this but I did'nt find one...

do you think they'll keep doing same kinda stuff as on mezmerize/hypnotize?
are they gonna make heavier music?
will their side projects effect to their music?

I think they're gonna use more electric sounds and Daron starts to play guitar solos. Very Happy

I believe someone made a topic about this a month after Hypnotize was released, which was a bit early to discuss.. Laughing

Anyway, "expect the unexpected"

If I Were To Imagine A New Album I Think Theyd Realise That Fans Really Enjoyed Their Old School Stuff And Start Using Simpler Riffs And Not As Much Editting, Much Like The Self Titled Album.

I think I read from somewhere that Daron will make progressive music with scars on broadway. maybe system's music becomes more progressive too.
I hope the next album has something from each previous album, too.

Defintely not that. ^^^ Why would SOAD go back to their original style with simple riffs when they have put (I assume) a lot of effort into improving themselves over all these years. The great thing about SOAD is they are constantly reinventing themselves, and never putting out the same record twice. And you should know that SOAD does not play music to please their fans (As stated in multiple interviews), they play music because they love it.

Now that that tirade is over, i think that a new SOAD album would be like Hypnotize Mezmerized. It would be Hypnotize like structure and songs with a Mez-like sound.

Sounds about right to me.
If I were to expect anything...it would be something completely different from what they've done before. And improved.

I think it will have a mix of whats on (like style wise) Toxicity and Hypnotize (or atl east i want it to be lol) but it might be heavier and i know it will be VERY political. i do think daron will do solos and it will be more powerful than the last two albums.

Hmm...I think that again Daron is going to be singing a lot, like in hypnotize, and maybe they will use serj's keyboard skills even more than just a couple songs an album.

I'm expecting their next CD (if it ever comes out) to be more poppy than their earlier albums because their style is becoming more and more influenced by pop. I'm also expecting their to be a lot of electronic effects.

In the beginning of the '90s, Rage Against the Machine and Tool came out, and that was the beginning of where we are now
