| Problem with the "Eat all the grass, eat all the grass that you want." part. I don't quite agree with your interpretation because grass is a slang term for pot, not ECPs, so i don't know what it could mean, but it is an obvious drug reference. |

That is your personal interpretation of the song. It is "right" for you.
"Eat all the grass...." means to ME personally that the accident do not happend ofcourse the consuming of drugs but rather of the fact that Accidents happen...".
If I was on that situation, if I 'killed' a rabbit with my car I'd ask myself if my consuming is to heavy so my reaction is too slow.
But that is what the sentence means to me. Subjective.
Couldn't that be the sin of song lyrics that everybody has got his own interpretation, his own meanings, so the lyrics can touch the heart....? |

my opinion i've had on this has always been a far fetch, and I believe I said it once before however:
He could be singing about Serj..... Like let's think:
"So I felt like the biggest asshole, when I killed your rock and roll"
This could mean a number of things.... Maybe; He felt like an asshole after being the one to take charge of SOAD when mesmerize came around, and he sorta "killed" the music as it was. Or he could just be talking about Killing the man himself (Serj) believe me guys I know how far I'm stretching this lol
"Mow down the sexy people"
This could pertain to Daron's emotional disorders he mentions in interviews... How he does not understand why people always come up to him.. So he could be saying, he's going to plow through the fans (the sexy people) as they now come to him instead of Serj...
"Everytime I look in your eyes, every day I'm watching you die"
I'm runnin outta crap now lol.. Everytime he see's Serj he sees a look of defeat in his eyes... He knows he's accomplished in taking over he's killed his music..
"Eat all the grass"
We all know Serj is a vegetarian.... lol

I've always seen it as a song about drug (as I always do if it's not political to me)
I read some earlier post about 'Rock' and 'Roll' and man, that rabbit theory just makes sense, of course it's very weird topic for song but who cares? I don't  |

I like the Serj theory! That's awesome.
But I thought that the grass eating part was talking about how Daron smoked too much weed, went driving at night, and smushed the rabbit. |
