| i heard once that this song was about when serj was gonna commit suicide but then his dad saved him right before he did it, but then they found his dad jumped off the same building he was or something like that |

I think the song is about Jesus and Suicide. Just think about it. The guy from the song wants to kill himself BECAUSE Jesus has left him. He feels forsaken by Jesus and he wants to kill himself.

Here the guy wants to give his life for his father (Jesus). Jesus has forsaken him so he is gonna kill himself in order to get closer to him. He feels abbandoned by Jesus so he thinks that "angels deserve to die". But he still wants Jesus to trust in his self righteous suicide because the church says that when somebody kills himself he isn't going in heaven, but in hell. You know... it's something that someone who is a real christian aint gonn do it or something like that. I'm not much into religion so I suppose I'm deeply mistaking. So he wants Jesus to trust in his suicide despite the fact that this is against his religion.
I hope I'm not making the same mistakes like the last time. This is what I think. Perhaps noone will agree with me, but still...

The song is about the way people die and the reactions of their friends,relatives etc. to it.
There is a difference in the reactions of people to your death if you die because of a car crash or because of a drug overdose,if you know what I mean. |
