This may come in handy! : http://www.get-tuned.com/guitar_tuner.php

By the way, SOAD do not play anything in Drop D, but it is a lot quicker to tune your bottom string to D when your just practising, than to tune all strings down to Drop C or Db. If you want to play along with the CD then I'd advise you to tune all strings down to their correct tuning.

thanks for this site a lot!! Smile
and yeah, tune bottom string is much easier than tune all strings xD
and I've never tuned all strings. but I'll try.

yeah, as far as i know, the first three albums are in drop C tuning, and Drop Db for mex/hyp...

hey, idea for y'all...why not tune your guitar down to drop C ( at least for serious guitarists ) and use a CAPO on the 1st fret for drop Db. sure it takes a little more effort in transposing everything in Mez/hyp up one fret, but it saves you changing tunings all the time which could do harm to your guitar by the changes in tension.

no trust me, i have the tab book, and it says B, you can play it in C but all your scales will be off, and when you play the main riff it wont be low enough, but think what you want, i dont care.
this is if your playing along with the CD

Actually i dont know if someone mentionned this already but i believe Chick n Stu was half a step lower than C, between Drop B and Drop C tunning. Im not sure if thats for the album version but i clearly remember 1 version being in that tunning.

EDIT: oh ok, ppl were talking bout it hehe, but yea, tab books arent always 100% accurate btw, and they never dropped to a full B, it was only half a step.
