Hello everyone, its time again for our monthly contest.
The Prize
One lucky winner will win one Hypnotize Vinyl Disc - Limited Edition
This month's prize is donated by our precious member Cozmachina
Contest Theme/Subject
To enter the contest, you need to cover one of the following System of a Down songs:
Aerials
or
Suite-pee
or
Holy Mountains
or
Sad Statue
Only Choose ONE SONG to cover from the 4 above.
Contest Rules
1- Only SOADFans Registered Members are eligible to enter this contest.
2- Only one entry per member is allowed.
3- Do Not post your entry until the contest (and the voting) is over.
4- Covers Have to be ORIGINAL and was NOT posted before on these forums (re-do the cover if you posted before).
5- Deadline to receive the entries is Sep 22 2006
Bands Submissions
If you're in a band and you want to submit the entry in the name of your band, then please make sure you read this:
a- you cant submit 2 entries, one for your band and for your solo thing, you have to either choose, a band or solo entry.
b- if you're gonna submit your band, then make sure to provide us the name of your band's members along with their user-names on SOADfans (if they are members).
c- the prize will be sent to the band (if your band won) which means the prize will be sent to the band representative.
How to Send Your Entry
All entries should be sent on this email contest@SOADFans.com with the following info:
Subject: September Cover Songs Contest
Your Name
Your Member's name in SOADFans
The Song Name
The song, and it should be uploaded somewhere, do NOT attach the song in the email use any free uploader such as:
rapidshare.de, megaupload.com, yousendit.com
Please provide us with that info or your entry will be removed
Good Luck and make sure you send your entry before the deadline
** if you're on hotmail and having a problem sending us your entry then please use another email like yahoo or gmail**
FAQ
> I sent my entry but didnt get a confirmation email?
- Wait 48 hours if you still didnt get the confirmation email, then PM zak.
> Can I do "unplugged" or "acoustic" versions of the songs?
- Yes! you can do the song whatever you like.
> Can I make a mix for the song?
- Yes, mix the song as you like, using any tools or addon instruments you'd like, the only thing needs to be untouched is the lyrics.
> Can I use music in background and put my vocal on it?
-- NO, instead, only use your vocals and make it acoustic version
> Can I make it music only, without singing (do I have to sing) ?
-- As long as the original song has singing then you have to sing, no point of making only music song
> Does it have to be in audio or can it be in video?
-- Only AUDIOS are accepted at the moment
> Do I have to be in a band to enter this Contest?
-- NO, you dont have to |

yes you can, all the previous contests winners can enter again with no problem
xquestion do whatever you'd like but not singing isnt really gonna worth it |
