| WHAT A SHOW!!! show has got to be one of my greatest and will be my most memorable show ever. Not only was SOAD amazing but all the other bands that played (Dragonforce, Lacuna Coil, Disturbed) were awesome too. So after a long hot day waiting for SOAD to perform, they finally came on at about 9:30 p.m. While SOAD was playing their amazing show, it started to rain but i think this was literally sign that even God rocks out to SOAD cuz everytime a bolt a lightning struck it struck at perfect timing and it was like it was almost part of the show because it seemed to be in sync with the music. Since this was SOAD's last show for a while it was also a sad day. Right before playing "Lost in Hollywood" Daron came up to mic and talked about how he and all the other band mates were just 4 different guys who became friends and formed their band in California. He talked about how they were a family and that even though they are going to take a break for a long time, they will still always be SYSTEM OF A DOWN! After that saddening speech, they started playing "Lost in Hollywood" and while playing Daron, Shavo, and Serj were all grouped together and playing together. They then had a nice group a hug, and after that Serj went over to John and gave him a hug. All in all this show was definetly amazing and i can honestly say that i can now die in peace. I was able to bring my video camera to the show so I will be uploading the video and audio from this show later. |

Thanks for the review! Without this forum I wouldn't be informed about the last shows before the hiatus.
Thanks again to all people who shared their experiences!
Although I live thousands of miles away you helped me at least joning in with my thoughts and imagination. |

| After realizing I definitely wasn't sitting as far as away the lawn was which my ticket was for... I concocted a master plan which landed me in the front row. The story is too long to write how I ended up their for the main stage, but I'll tell you this... the security had flaws... which I exploited. This one my second System show, the first was nearly a year ago, 362 days. This was the best show of any band that I've ever been to as well. I can't precisely remember the setlist besides the first few songs which was Soldierside, BYOB, the song Know that led into Attack. Besides that I forgot it for the most part. I have a ton of pictures that I'll post later. Rememerable moments, when Shavo broke his lower bass string and kept playing, when Serj said an anti-war speech that if you could see his face would've made you feel much differently, I assure you. Also, Shavo broke his bass to pieces at the end and threw it in to the front area, which was torn apart by rabid drunks. As two people were about to fight in the front area during the interlude of War I think, Serj said something along the lines of, "Stop it! This is not what we came here do. Stop that right fucking now." They did. Then he said Thank You. Once again, I'll post the better pictures whenever I can get them uploaded. |

I didn't think Shavo would destroy an instrument...but wow. Not like he'll need it for a while..
Thanks for you information, and I CAN'T WAIT FOR PICS AND VIDS! |
