| i wont deniy he's talented. Don't really pay any mind to me right now or what i say. i just had one of those moods earlier. but i still think he's really cocky but thats not a rarity in the music industry. |

Daron is definitely not cocky. He's a very nice person and I don't see why you would call him that...unless you watched the Uranium interview where he said "tell the kids we are very cocky", but he was obviously being sarcastic during that statement. He also has no ego; he is very humble and down to earth so I dont know why you say "he isn't as great as he thinks he is". Thirdly, as Rainbow said, his musical talent is undeniable, and he is a perfectionist when it comes to music. He won't put out something if he doesn't think its done right, so Scars on Broadway can't be a pile of crap. |

| i totally agree with you ak, he could be cocky if he wanted to because he has immeasurable talent but he isnt and that is too respectable ^_^ i think all of soad is very humble! anyways, i was wondering what happened to eaturmusic, it just like disappeared from the face of the earth. i guess it really wasnt daron's thing to have his own music label, but i really do respect his efforts. |

Has anyone seen the music video to "California's Bleeding" by Amen? I did a search and i thought the only appropriate place to ask this is in this thread because soady made a reference to the song...I haven't seen it, but apparently Daron makes a cameo appearance in the music video according to this source:

California's AMEN will reportedly embark on a European tour in January, with support from the Kent, U.K.-based band THE INBREDS. Exact cities and dates for trek, dubbed "Amen Casey Chaos Lives", will be announced soon.
AMEN's last collection of new studio recordings, "Death Before Musick", was released in 2004 through EatUrMusic a Columbia Records imprint owned by SYSTEM OF A DOWN guitarist Daron Malakian.
Malakian who makes a cameo appearance in AMEN's "California's Bleeding" video met AMEN singer Casey Chaos when both bands played at Australia's Big Day Out festival in 2002 and the guitarist made AMEN his first signing. |

It's only towards the end of the video that Daron appears in it. It's a performance vid where the camera attacks the band, so they all end up with bleeding faces & other bleeding body parts. At the end Casey comes towards the camera to hit it back and then you see Daron with a scratch on his face, but smiling slightly demonic. So it makes it look as if Daron has been attacking the band throughout the song. Not half bad!

| Its very difficult to run your own label, even if you are the only artist on it yourself. It takes a pretty good sized machine to make sure that all of the things a label needs are in working order. I'm pretty sure being able to do art is much more important to him in any case. |
