Here's avatar creation guide I wrote in the old topic and I think it could be usefull to someone so here it is:
You take video, use program to decompose it. I use http://www.cdhnow.com/ this media wizzard. (I also use proffesional version of Quick Time player to decompile .avi and .mpg videos cause it has more options but it doesn't play .wmv's) Then you have few thousands of pictures, frames. And you use program to make animation. I use Jasc Animation Shop. It's good to make the animation loop as clean as it goes. And you have to compress it, i use 63 colours-optimized octre-nearest colour(you'll see those options there).
And thats all. Good luck |
