Sorry for the long break. 
Chapter 4
I stepped inside the room and my eyes met with D's. He was smiling, there were no confusion on his face anymore.
- Teach me everything I've got to know - he said.
- All right. But now we must rest, the sun is rising. We can't go out untillevening.
Now sleep.
A short knocking woke me up long hours later.
I walked to the door when Serge came in with a wide evil smile accompanied by two georgeous young girls.
I stared at him in disbelief - it was long ago when we met last time - but he just nodded his head and said:
- Surprise! They are yours.
- How bizarre! But .. all right then, thank you.
And I turned to D:
- Come on, you must eat. I show you. First lesson.
Then I put my arms around one of the girls from behind - she couldn't resist because of the alcohol and drugs - and slowly sank my teeth into her neck.
Her blood started to flow into my vains in big draughts. Its ancient rhythim was
rumbling in my body.
- Ok, it's your turn!
D stepped to the other girl. He was hesitating for a moment but then ... pounced on her.
I was so proud of him.
But when I got a glance on Serge who was watching with a sinister look, I felt something strange.
"What's the problem?" - I asked myself but I had no idea.
So much time passed when I finally found out that he already knew that I made a terrible mistake.
But on that day I didn't bother.
When we got rid of the corpses we all went to sleep again. We knew that we needed our power to manage our new life.
Before I fall asleep I heard a familiar voice who was singin in my head: "Lie naked on the floor..."
... another part of my past.
Then the next night arrived and we started our journey.
I never stay on the same place for too long. |

Chapter 5
D was a very good and ambicious student, he quickly learned the art of killing. Art - this is the right expression, because we made the hunting perfect in order to survive. Despite we are immortal there are some elementary needs and rules we can't break if we want to stay alive really forever.
We left a lot of victims behind but we didn't make new followers for a long time.
We moved to the capitol city, where we could hide from the crowd and lived our destiny in shadow and secret.
Serge disappeared time to time, but after a few days he always came back. One day when he arrived home I coulkdn't stand any longer and asked him about his reasons.
- What's the point? Why do you escape from us?
-You can't understand this. I don't want to see how you're addicted to D. This is a torture for me. As you know, a part of my soul stayed alive and a hidden emotion slowly arised in it.
But now I see that I have no chance. You love D and you're addicted to him. You turned him into a vampire against my advice just because you was driven by your feelings. Although I know that this isn't right, all I can do is to warn you, but I can't change this.
So I just leave. Try to be happy untill it will be too late to recognize the truth. I know you can't believe me, but you will see that one day he will turn against our laws and you too.On that day please remember my words and do what you have to.
And he walked away. I was shocked and I felt a deep sadness and emptiness within my mind and soul.
But I tried to hide this feeling, I didn't want to care. "Serge was right. I have to be happy now at last. Even if it means that I lose my sire and my friend."
This was a very big deal, because the connection between a vampire and the sire is mythical, almost sacred. You can't break it without consequences.
I didn't care my doubts. I felt that finally I've reached my goal and enjoyed the situation.
On the night when Serge left I just wanted to feel good, so D and I decided to go out for a hunting.
A few hours after the sun went down we went out to a pub where a lot of young people used to hang out and have fun. That was exactly what we were searching for.
As we arrived to the place we ordered drinks and sat down to maintain the illusion of normality. It almost failed when a few poeple we knew before recognized us. It was a hard moment.
We were talking and checking out the "selection". After a while I noticed a young couple who were making out in a dark corner unaware of us. I looked to D and he nodded his head as a sign of agreement.
So we stepped to the couple and their destiny reached them in that moment. The boy was mine and D killed the girl.
I did this ritual a lot of time before, but it's always a fresh and great experience. I feel that I become a part of an ancient dark power again with te help of the young blood.
You can call this a simple pure violence, but to me this means the energy, the life.
By the hunting I am attached to the community where my existence came from.
The mistake? - I guess you can easily find out now, but by the end it will be clear. |
