| I'm sure that this has come up earlier, but i can't be fucked to read through the whole thread- the point is, it is rather ungrateful of people to want them back when the band members are busy with their solo careers that they're working very hard on. I just said hard on. Lol. |

i'm sure System understands that we're not ungrateful to want a comeback ASAP. They know they have die-hard fans who live for their music and hate that theyre on hiatus but they wanna do their own thing. When they toured in 03-06, you could tell Serj's voice somewhat changed, to a more melodical one. His Elect The Dead brings out the best aspects of his voice and of course ideas since he was a kid.
Daron's character as well changed from 05. Although true fans like us knew that he wrote most of the lyrical content for the band, he started to take on a more vocal role, proving that he obviously has what it takes to be a leading man. He also wanted to have i guess 100% of the lyrical content and do his rock over metal approach.
Shavo, who's Dj'ed at clubs for years, wanted to do what he's interested in while promoting his own world views.
And John, well hge's probably the greatest drummer in the world and he can kick ass with Serj, SOB, even marching bands, lol.
They, apperently are in the roles they wanted and as much as we hate it, they might like it too much...
But definitely, if theres a chance to spread awareness of the Armenian Genocide or push reconciliation, reparation, and admittance to the Turkish government like this Eurovision Song Contest this year could do, S.O.A.D. would reunite in a heartbeat |

Hey guys, there's obviously a problem between Serj and Daron....
!!!
1. Daron hasn't heard Elect the Dead...( WTF..?!!!..)
2. Serj owns an SOB record, but hasn't listen to all the songs..(LOL)
And then they claim that they're brothers/friends..what kind of friendship is this..???
Remember during one of the last concerts..
While playing Lonely Day...Daron said something like " This motherfucker I can't stand"..about Serj....
lol
That was funny...and sad ....but TRUE...
They're just sick of each other....!!! |

what I actually sang was 'this motherfucker I cant stand' , meaning 'day'. That's a long distance from 'These motherfuckers', meaning my bandmates. which I didn't say. The story's garbage. It's untrue. next question."

I have no idea what's true and what's not with the SOAD hiatus soap opera--and I'm caring less and less about it as time goes by. But I do know that just because people are siblings doesn't mean that they are going to get along. I spent most of my life having four brothers and two sisters. The last time we all gathered under the same roof was 1971. And that's a good thing. There's love there somewhere between all of us surviving siblings. But some of us should never be in the same room together.
I would like to see SOAD perform together again simply because their music is so wonderful. But I'm not holding my breath. |

Be it the DAY or Serj...He's not gonna sit there and clarify what he said...
lol
he's gonna say what he wants you to hear...
so beat it MTV...
Pay attention to Daron's interviews...he never gives a clear answer...he makes it as confusing as possible for everyone....
Just like his songs....Everyone gets their own meaning.... |

I'm sorry, that makes no sense to me. He's there TELLING you what he really said, and you don't want to believe him. The problem is no longer there, it's up to you to accept it. It's straight from the horse's mouth.
If he didn't clarify, people would assume he meant Serj. He did clarify, and you still think he meant Serj.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't I guess. With that type of thinking, there's nothing they can say or do to prove that they're fine with each other. |

Or he just hasn't listened to it? If he had said "Yea I listened to it, I liked it, it was great" you would just say "Oh, he's just saying that to not stur drama, he probably hated it!"
He just said he didn't mean Serj and you still think he meant it. What would you want him to say?
They've said they've done other things to prove they were fine with each other. Texting "Happy Birthday" to each other comes to mind. Why are all the good things they say about each other ignored, and the "iffy" or "neutral" things, put under the scope so?
And even IF there was a falling out between Serj and Daron, who gives a shit. It's their business and they're not going to go out of their way to prove how their status with each to you or ANY one. |
