Serj Tankian has been touring in support of his first solo album, 2007's
"Elect the Dead", and the highlights of his last eight months on the road may
soon be documented in a DVD.
Serj told The Pulse of Radio that the package could contain a lot of
previously unreleased material. "It's funny, 'cause the record's only 45 minutes
and we've headlined a lot of shows where we've played an hour fifteen, so that's
30 minutes of music," he said. "So there's covers, there's new songs, there's
unreleased stuff, so we have a lot of stuff that we can release on such a
vehicle like a DVD."
Serj Tankian added that the set, which is only in tentative planning stages,
might include all 14 music videos he made for the album, live performances from
Europe, behind-the-scenes footage and live audio from some shows.
No further info so far abut this DVD.
Serj will perform lice at the Ozzfest with OZZY OSBOURNE and METALLICA on August
9 in Dallas, Texas.
