Nope, we are completely fan site, made by fans just like you, we are NOT directly affiliated with the band nor the recording company (Sony music) nor their management (Streetwise) by any means.

SOADFans.com founded by ZAk in November 2003. The site opened for public on November 15th as System of a
Down Community based Fans website.

The website mainly depends on the fans contributions, uploading their own SOAD related materials (photos, topics, comments, audio, videos ..etc).

AS a rapidly growing website, SOADFans.com witnessed an increase in the members
number from less than 100 by December 2003 to more than 10,000 members by the beginning of 2005. SOADFans was
short listed as #16 best music related website in 2005 in the BT Music Awards.
By the beginning of 2007, the number of members reached more than 54,000 members
from all over the world.

SOADFans scores thousands of visits per day, and stores thousands of SOAD related data (more than half million posts in the forums, 3.000 photo, 80.000
news and photos comments).

ZAk is web Admin and the designer of SOADFans, SOAD-team (Moderators) do help moderating the Forums and the Gallery comments. There's
