It was the first time that Scars visited Belgium, with their European Tour.
Sunday evening; After a family party, I drove with my girlfriend to the gig in
Brussels (about 30minutes driving) after finding space to park my car, we went
to the AB. When we came in, we've got some kind of flyers (actually stickers!!!)
from Scars on Broadway!
The opening act : 20.00u (local time) THE RONES (A belgian band, even me didn't
know them, but they were not bad). After 30minutes their time was over.
I saw Sako!!! He removed the black curtain that was hiding john's drumkit.. a
real nice black set!! some guys soundchecked the guitars and stuff...

The lights go out!!!
I saw some guys coming on stage except for Daron...after like 20 seconds, some
guy with a flashlight walked for him (it looked like they are looking for the
right way to the stage)
and started 'Serious' ... the crowd goes crazy!! and so did I
The live sound was very very nice!! and Daron looked very healthy and happy!
They played alot of songs (see setlist below) but some stupid french f*cker
(sorry french people!!) jumped 2x times on the stage.. the first time he was
only standing and raising his hands.. but the second time .. it was the ending
of 'Universe' he jumped on the stage and run to Daron.. and he wanted to shake
Daron's hand, but Daron didnt see him coming!!! Daron was really shocked for
some seconds!!! (the the guy jumped in the crowd before 3 security man grabbed
him).
Daron said: "Man you scared the shit out of me! When I play I'm not even
on the planet! but thank you for bringing me back!!"
Also : Before 'Funny' started (after that incident) john quickly run to the
front of the stage and said something (the song was already started! but he was
fast enough back) then like 20 seconds after that, 2 security guys extra between
Scars and Audience!!
Amazing Show that will be on my list : Best Concerts Of 2008!

Daron: "But thank you for bringing me back." LMAO - shame Daron, at least he took it in his stride. His reaction when he got scared must have been hilarious tho. And hows John to the rescue & still in time to play ... what a man, what a drummer!!! Gald you had a cool experience Nico, thanx for sharing!
I was there too! It was awesome, after the show Jhon came foreward and thanked the fans, giving some high fives and hands (I got to touch him which was kinda cool)
I really injoyed the show and you could see Daron was having fun too!!
