SOAD have really opened my eyes to what's going on in the world. I mean, you see stuff like this in the news, but it comes out so much differently when you hear artists speak about this subjects. On the news, everything kinda becomes like a story being told, and we don't really understand or care what it's all about, but when you see these pictures and read these outstanding death toll-numbers given out by the Young Turks, it really changes you.

Haaah... Take a look at this from the hotlink'd article:
Screamers approaches this bleak subject via the medium of rock 'n' roll. System of a Down are a Los Angeles heavy metal band, popular throughout the world. Three of the five band members are Armenian by origin - they emigrated to LA via Iraq - and they have turned their concerts into a form of lobbying, wanting to see the 1916 Turkish massacres of Armenians recognised as genocide.

And sorry for the double comment, however, I accidentally submitted before I wanted to say what I wanted to say about the article... 3 out of five members are Armenian by origin? o___o Who's this fifth one? D: And how come only 3 of them are Armenian?! They all are!
