SOAD 'Horden Pavillion Jan.25 Concert' Description |

Just wanted to pass on info of SOAD performing in their own concert before Sydney BDO.
For all those who will eventually see SOAD perform at their own venue rather than a festival, you will be rocked like a "mother-f*&Cer" if they rock like they did in the Hordern Pavilion on the night of Jan 25 !
There were quite a few outros to songs that had that middle-eastern sound Daron has been speaking of - and it's amazing!! Serj also aided Daron in some songs with his own guitar during the intro.

I can't recall the the exact position of each song in the playlist, but these are all the songs they performed.

New Songs:
Cigaro was played to perfection, with Daron introducing the song by admitting his own large size and Serj's sweet smelling shit. Those who knew of Cigaro broke out in cheers as they knew what was coming!
Kill Rock'n'Roll was introduced as a conversation between Daron & God, who commanded him to kill rock'n'roll and sleep with every sexy person. An amazing song.
Holy Mountain - Oh boy. The passion of SOAD was evident in this new song. Daron introduced this song by acknowledging the Armenian flags in the crowd. He went on to talk about two mountains claimed by Turkey that belong to Armenia (can't recall the exact names, sorry). This was at least +6 minute performance and sounds utterly amazing with both Daron and Serj particpating in their own typoe of church monk chant.
Merchandise included a white System of a Down singlet with red text, a black baseball cap with red text of System of a Down. A black shirt with an American tank with the quote "Mine is bigger than yours" was also for sale. Finally, another t-shirt (submitted the photos of it) was also available.

The exact name of the Mt is appears to be Ararat... and it has two peaks..
Might the video be downloaded from here soon?

I was lucky enough to go to the concert as well. I also had the pleasure of hanging out with them back stage before and after the concert, and also afterwards at their hotel room.
They are really a good bunch of guys and very down to earth. That includes all their tech guys and assistants as well. They're all great.
Keep it up System, You Rock!!!!
